Installation Guide

This section contains installation procedure for Azure DevOps Connector application.

Install the Azure DevOps Connector app by appserve.ai on your monday platform to seamlessly synchronize project data between Azure DevOps (ADO) and monday.com. This integration enhances team collaboration, driving better results and faster project delivery.

If you subscribe and unsubscribe on the same day, it will have no impact on the billing cycle of the app.

Follow the below steps to install the application:

Step 1: Login to monday.com.

Create new workspace for Azure DevOps Connector.

Step 2: Click on dropdown and click on Add new workspace.

Create Azure DevOps workspace.

Step 3: Enter Workspace name. Click on Add Workspace.

  1. Privacy requirements are selected as Open by default, which allows your team members to join the board.

  2. Select Closed option to prevent team members from joining the board.

Step 4: Click on profile icon from the top-right corner of the window and select App marketplace.

Step 5: Search for the Azure DevOps Connector app and click the app.

Step 6: Click on the Install app.

Step 7: Select the Workspace and click on Install.

  1. If you select the All Workspaces option, the app will be available on all current and future workspaces.

  2. If you select the Specific Workspaces option. You have to choose the Workspaces from the dropdown, the app will be limited to those workspaces only.

Let’s Get Started window will appear.

Step 8: Choose an option to get started with the app.

  1. Select the start with a template option to use template boards and columns.

  2. Select the start with your own workspace option to use the existing boards or create customized boards.

  1. If you select the Start with a template option, choose the workspace from the dropdown and click on Add app.

2. If you select the Start with your own workspace option, choose your preferred workspace and board. Then, click on Add app.

Azure DevOps app will be installed on the selected workspaces.

Now you have to add the Azure DevOps template to your monday board.

Step 8: Go to the workspace. Click on “+“ button.

Step 9: Click on Template Center.

Step 10: Search for the template with the keyword ADO and select ADO monday Empyra template.

Step 11: Click on the Use template dropdown and select the workspace from the list to add the ADO template.

Azure DevOps app template will be added to the selected workspaces with the integration board.


Uninstall the App

The steps to uninstall the app are as follows:

  1. Go to the Monday Marketplace. Search for the Azure DevOps Connector app. Click on app.

  2. Click on the dropdown and Uninstall the app.


Reinstall the App

After uninstalling, you can re-install the app using the simple steps:

  1. Go to the Monday Marketplace. Search for the Azure DevOps Connector app. Click on the app.

  2. Click on Install.

The app will be re-installed.
